K+F receives Banner Approval for Mystic Seaport & Aquarium

Kent + Frost was happy to receive unanimous approval from the Stonington Planning and Zoning Commission to allow the Mystic Seaport and the Mystic Aquarium to utilize light pole banners to promote events and wayfinding.

Jewett City Streetscape

Kent + Frost has been selected by the Town of Griswold, CT to prepare the Jewett City Main Street Corridor Master Plan. 14 teams competed for the project. K+F’s team includes Stadia Engineering and Lindsay Liebig Roche Architects. The project’s scope involves streetscape design, building facade improvement program, riverwalk, farmer’s market, parking, and signage plane, all unified by a theme that enlivens the community’s history and future potential.

“This project exemplifies the characteristics of what we do as landscape architects in creating memorable public spaces, facilitating community groups for optimum programming, and integrating art and scripture into the landscape. Kent + Frost has received the 2010 CT ASLA Award of Excellence for design of the Hygienic Art Park located in downtown New London, CT.

Ledyard Town Green

The Town of Ledyard has undertaken this project to create a Town Green in Ledyard Center. The Town Green will help define Ledyard Center’s sense of place, provide a space for civic gatherings and an area for outdoor recreation. This will be the first phase of a multiphase project.
