K+F provides the full scope of Landscape Architectural services including Site Assessment, Master Planning, Design Development, Site Plan Permitting, and Construction Phase services.
Site Assessment: Prior to purchase or development, a thorough assessment can identify environmental, regulatory or programmatic constraints, and identify novel ways to turn constraints into opportunities, therefore facilitating a successful project.
Master Planning: The centerpiece of K+F’s services is the Landscape Master Plan that includes graphic site plans as well as budget, phasing and project management recommendations. The master planning process combines all relevant contextual information with the Client’s Program and results in a document that guides a project through successive phases of development.
Design Development: K+F will expand upon the approved concept adding detail and refinement. During this phase a project concept must pass rigorous testing that ensures its viability from a cost and regulatory perspective.
Site Plan Permitting: K+F is well versed guiding projects through the municipal site plan application process including; Planning and Zoning Commissions,Zone changes, Variance requests, Architectural Review Boards, Wetland permitting, Conservation Commissions, Coastal Area Management review, and Public Hearings.
Construction Phase Services: The key to a successfully built project is clear, concise and well crafted documents. We see the creation of well crafted construction documents as much of an art form and the design itself. No detail is too small to examine for both its durability and aesthetic contributions to the project. Additionally, we feel there is no substitute for being personally present during construction, to help guide, explain, and craft the final product.
