Following construction of a new clubhouse, the landscape architect was tasked with designing an entrance and landscape screen within the narrow strip between a parking area and US Route 1A. The landscape design included drought tolerant native shrubs, grasses and wildflowers including bayberry, inkberry and switchgrass.  A windrow of rocks and boulders left over from the building construction was reused as a retaining wall, saving the cost and energy of off-site disposal.
